My 23rd Birthday!!

So I'm 23!! Crazy! I had such a wonderful celebration. My parents gave us their timeshare in Park City for the week. Jay and Traysen and me went up on Wednesday and stayed til Sunday. It was so relaxing and fun. There's nobody I could think of spending my birthday with than my sweet husband and little boy. They were so sweet to me.

On Saturday our friends Ryan and Jillyn came up to celebrate. We Barbequed and partied. It was so much fun! You guys are awesome, thanks for such a fun birthday!!

Traysen's Surgery

Traysen's surgery went great! The surgeon said everything went as perfect as possible. He doesn't think Traysen will need another surgery for a very long time! He is home now and is doing so well. He had a very hard recovery in the hospital so it is so nice to finally have him home. Since he's been home his recovery has been so much better. He is eating great and sleeping too. We are so thankful to all our great friends and family. You are all such a blessing in our lives and I don't know how we could have gotten through such a rough year without all of you.

Having the surgery over has been the biggest relief. Jason and I knew about this surgery since I was 20 weeks pregnant and have been anticipating it ever since. Knowing that it is finally over and our little guy gets to be a regular healthy little boy is everything we could have ever wanted. We will finally be able to take him out and let him explore the world!

He is such a happy little boy and such a fighter. He has been through so much and as a mom it is the hardest thing to watch your child suffer. He is such a blessing and has overcome all odds against him.

I am posting a few pictures. On is before his surgery and the other is after his surgery (it's a super sad picture).

Hi again!!

Hey guys! Wow it's been so long since I've blogged.. once again! :) Things are so crazy with a little one. Traysen is getting so stickin big. He is into everything. You can't even hold a cup without him wanting to grab it right out of your hands. He has just been such a bundle of joy.

Traysen gets his surgery on Tuesday 16th. We are very anxious and just can't wait for it to finally be over. It's a crazy emotion because on one hand I'm excited for my baby boy to get all fixed and finally be able to stop worrying, but on the other hand I don't know if I can handle him going in for surgery. All we can do is pray at this point. Everything is in God's hands and we know He'll take care of our little guy. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We have such good friends and family that has been nothing but supportive and loving and we really appreciate you guys!

Halloween!!

Traysen was so cute on Halloween.. He was Tigger! The costume was a bit big for him but he looked so super cute! We all just stayed home and handed out candy. Grandma and Grandpa Sincere came over and hung out with us. It was a fun filled Halloween. He also had a cute little Halloween outfit that he wore the next day.

It's Been Forever!

It has been so long since I have blogged. Being a new mom takes a lot more time and energy than I could have ever imagined. I love being a mom more than anything. It's an amazing feeling to love someone so much. Jason and I have really enjoyed being parents. Traysen is an amazing little guy! He is such a trooper. He'll be 7 weeks on Wednesday. He is growing up so fast I can't believe it. He's starting to smile a lot more and can kick himself up so well. We are so impressed with him everyday!

Traysen Alexander Holland

We finally came up with a baby name! Traysen Alexander Holland! We wanted a unique name, but not one that is hard to pronounce or spell. The first name is just something we came up with. We really like the name Tray and Traysen is sorta a combination of our names (Therese and Jason). His middle name is after my brother Alex. He passed away a few years ago and we wanted our first child to have his name. The name Tray means "three" and he will be the third edition to our little family. Also, if anyone knows Jason they know that he loves the number three. We are so excited that we finally have a name picked out. It makes the pregnancy feel more and more real.
