Traysen Alexander Holland
We finally came up with a baby name! Traysen Alexander Holland! We wanted a unique name, but not one that is hard to pronounce or spell. The first name is just something we came up with. We really like the name Tray and Traysen is sorta a combination of our names (Therese and Jason). His middle name is after my brother Alex. He passed away a few years ago and we wanted our first child to have his name. The name Tray means "three" and he will be the third edition to our little family. Also, if anyone knows Jason they know that he loves the number three. We are so excited that we finally have a name picked out. It makes the pregnancy feel more and more real.

ReplyDeleteHi, I found your blog and wanted to post a note about congenital heart defects.
ReplyDeleteMy son Jacob is 2 years old now and was born with a heart defect: Transposition of the Great Arteries (d-TGA). We did not know before he was born and he had to be emergency transferred to Primary Children's Medical Center. He had open heart surgery at Primary's when he was 5 days old.
I am part of a local non-profit support group called Intermountain Healing Hearts. We have over 175 families with children who have various CHDs and even some CHD adults in the group! These are families with moms pregnant with “heart babies”, new babies still in the hospital, babies and toddlers at home (some awaiting a second or third open heart surgery), some teenagers and also adults. What a blessing it has been to be able to talk with and ask questions of other “heart families” who truly understand what your family is going through.
